Hi and welcome to Ignite youth group.

Ignite is for those at High School and we meet in term time on Friday night’s at the King’s Centre, between 6pm and 8.30pm. The first hour is a social time then 7-8.30pm is the main event. Why don’t you come along and check it out for yourself, and see what it’s all about?

After a fun social time together, a typical Ignite evening will see us worship, and then dive into God’s Word and look at topics that are relevant to our everyday lives. We also have regular ‘Ignite specials’, featuring everything from laser tag, ten-pin bowling, BBQ’s, pool party’s, to Xbox, pizza, making and much more.

The word Ignite means to ‘spark something – to catch fire’! As the Ignite team that’s what we long for….that a passion would be ignited in each one who comes, to know Jesus as their personal Saviour, and for that fire to keep burning in their hearts!

At Ignite we have been looking at ‘Prayer’ and how prayer can change our lives and those we pray for.

We want to be really aware of how we live, especially as someone once said ‘we might be the only Bible some people ever read.’ Matthew 5:14 – 16 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand,and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven”

Come along……Ignite……..and catch your fire! It might be one of the best things you ever do!
